Administrative Structure

BOARD OF THE GOVERNING COUNCIL

The Governing Board of Assi College of Health Sciences and Technology is made up of the following members:

Chairman

Provost

Representatives of the Affiliate Universities

Representative of the Academic Board

Registrar, as the Secretary of the Board.

Functions of the Board of the Governing Council

1. Is the Governing Board of the College
2. Is responsible for the general policy and administration of the College

Appointment of staff

Promotion of staff

Disciplinary control of staff

Management of the funds and properties of the College

PRINCIPAL OFFICERS OF THE COLLEGE

The principal officers of the College and their functions are as follows:

The Provost

The Provost is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Academic Officer of the College.

Deputy Provost

Assists the Provost in the running the daily activities, both academic and administrative, of the College and may perform such other duties as may from time to time be assigned by the Provost.

Registrar

The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the College. The Registrar is responsible to and reports to the Provost for the day to day administration of the College.

Deputy Registrar

The Deputy Registrar assists the Registrar in the running of the daily activities of the College. The Deputy Registrar is also responsible to and reports to the Provost.

Bursar

The Bursar is the Chief Financial Officer of the College. The Bursar is responsible to and reports to the Provost.

Heads of Departments

The Heads of departments are responsible to and reports to the Provost through the Deputy Provost for the day to day running of their departments.

The Academic Board is made up of the following members:
